CDS Labour are currently looking to recruit several seasonal Fruit Pickers in Aberfeldy that will be working as part of a team on site. This role will involve:

Responsibilities:

• Harvesting a variety of fruits using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Selecting and picking fruits based on size, colour, and maturity, following established quality standards.
• Handling the harvested fruits with care to prevent damage and maintain their freshness.
• Sorting and grading the fruits based on specific criteria.
• Packaging and preparing the fruits for transportation or sale.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Complying with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Working efficiently and meeting productivity targets as set by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Attention to detail to ensure the selection of high-quality fruits.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fruit picking or agricultural work is advantageous.
• Knowledge of different fruit varieties and their ripening stages is a plus.
• Familiarity with farm machinery and equipment is beneficial.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in a farming environment
